Our collective bargaining agreements provide for the following with respect to the observance of Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 2020; Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020; and New Year’s Day, Friday, January 1, 2021.

 

Christmas Eve, Thursday, December 24, 2020

Rodsetters Local #405:

Holiday; paid for 4 hours. Foremen; paid for 8 hours. Employees who work on Christmas Eve Day shall work 4 hours and be paid for 8 hours. Any time worked beyond 4 hours shall be paid at the double time rate plus 4 hour holiday pay. To receive the holiday pay, the employee must work the day before Christmas Eve and the first working day after Christmas Day. When Christmas Eve day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the four-hour provision shall apply to the preceding Friday.

 

Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020 and New Year’s Day, January 1, 2021

Carpenters, Cement Masons, Plasterers, Laborers, Drywall Finishers & Rodsetters:

Not a paid holiday. If worked, double-time.

Operating Engineers:

Paid holiday. A holiday falling on Saturday shall be recognized as a paid Holiday and celebrated on Friday. Holidays falling on a Sunday shall be recognized as a paid holiday and celebrated on Monday. Employees shall be paid for Holidays provided such employees worked the scheduled work day pervious to the Holiday and the scheduled work day following the Holiday. If worked, double-time which includes holiday pay.

Rodsetter Foreman:

Paid holiday. If worked, triple time, which includes holiday pay.
