Project Manager

Clemens is seeking a Project Manager with 5+ years of experience within the Philadelphia marketplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading high-profile projects from the preconstruction phase through project completion. Individuals will lead a project and ensure fluid communication between owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors. Candidates must be able to develop project schedules, site logistics plans, scopes of work and cost estimates as well as read and evaluate contract terms and conditions and have strong negotiating skills. Typical projects will range from $1M-$20M. Experience in the commercial, healthcare, retail and higher education sector is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
  • Experience with projects up to $20M
  • Stable work history
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Experience in the commercial, healthcare, retail and higher education sector
  • Knowledge of Procore software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervise construction projects from preconstruction to certificate of occupancy and close out
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including working with the preconstruction team, managing subcontractors and suppliers and working with owners, owner’s representatives and the design team
  • Ensure that a project is completed according to schedule, cost, quality and safety objectives
  • Work with the site superintendent and safety director to ensure a safe work site is maintained
  • Serve as primary point of contact with owners/clients

Senior Project Manager

Clemens Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience within the Philadelphia marketplace. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading large projects from the preconstruction phase through project completion. Individuals will lead a project team and ensure fluid communication between owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors. Candidates must be able to develop project schedules, site logistics plans, scopes of work and cost estimates as well as read and evaluate contract terms and conditions and have strong negotiating skills. Typical projects will range from $20M-$100M. Experience in multi-family apartment renovation and/or new high-rise construction in an urban environment is preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred
  • Experience with projects up to $100M
  • Stable work history
  • Strong verbal and written communication
