Construction Project Scheduler

Duties include:

  • Utilize the critical path method to develop & maintain project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 in support of mid-large construction projects.
  • Work with design team, owners, contractors and subcontractors to gather data and upload/interpret various timelines from Microsoft Project and Excel into P6.
  • Maintain the schedule throughout the project lifecycle via feedback from the internal project team as well as input from contractor and vendor schedules and associated communication.
  • Identify critical and near-critical paths as well as trends to help project team stay on track, while avoiding slippage.
  • Have ability to cost load schedule.
  • Be able to give weekly and monthly reports and updates to all parties to assess schedule and predict substantial completion.

Construction Project Manager / Cost Estimator

Duties include:

  • Able to work with Owners, design team, contractors, Sub-contractors, on pre-develop and construction of various types of projects
  • Review drawings and perform take-offs and cost estimates.  Able to utilize, Bluebeam, Plan Swift, RS Means Online and other programs to assist with estimates.
  • Provide estimates for labor, site work, utilities, materials, equipment, rentals, trailers, insurance, bonding, profit, overhead, delays, long-lead items, and all other cost items and contingencies. Manage and estimate 33 Divisions.
  • Review project schedules and anticipate delays and cost of those delays
  • Assist with reviewing and negotiating A.I.A. contracts
  • Review GC contracts and negotiate best contract and payment terms
  • Able to manage job site including inspections, vouchers, change orders, RFIs, Submittals, and Cut Sheets etc.
  • Able to manage contractors and vendors and successfully close projects on time.

Construction Safety Manager

Duties include:

  • Ensure OSHA and Pandemic Safety protocols on Job site
  • Develop and implement safety plans and programs to correct hazards and promote safe working conditions.
  • Tour job sites to inspect safety equipment, machinery, and facilities to identify and correct potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Lead safety and first aid training to educate on safety policies, laws, and practices and provide safety orientation to new hires
  • Encourage vigilance against the big four hazards – fall, electrocution, caught-in-between and stuck by an object or equipment.
