Construction Manager / Project Manager

JINGOLI Construction Management is looking for a talented individual with an architectural background to help manage our busy construction projects. Incumbents will assist in overseeing pre-construction, constructability reviews, on-site construction management, and quality control. Our ideal candidate has 5 – 10 years of construction management and project experience.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • On-site construction manager/project manager, someone that can perform a constructability review, and knows pre-construction services.
  • Ability to assist a project from conception to completion
  • Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Knowledge and coordination of subcontractor, vendor, and suppliers
  • Prepare and maintain accurate work logs of construction activities, job information sheets, daily reports, safety requirements
  • Ability to analyze, manage, and mitigate risks for the client
  • Oversee construction contract administration and submittal log processes to ensure that the contract document requirements are met throughout all phases of the construction project
  • Enforce quality control process measures that ensure compliance with contracts, building, and code regulations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Construction Management degree and/or construction certificate program or Trade School Program preferred.
  • 5-10 years of experience in construction services, administrative support, contract administration, or construction project management is crucial
  • Some experience or high aptitude for architecture and concepts desired.
  • Understanding of the construction industry and processes are beneficial- including codes, AIA documentation, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and project or construction management software, like Procore, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills are valuable

Construction Manager / Superintendent

This on-site position will be responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and managing all activities of a construction site. Coordinating and management of subcontractors for all field activities on assigned construction projects. Oversight responsibility for all projects executed within an assigned construction program including quality control and safety. High quality manager with the ability to communicate with field personnel and the client.

KEY ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Attend all project meetings
  • Daily Reporting / Photo Updating
  • Works well with a project manager
  • Communication abilities including writing, speaking, and listening
  • Responsible for the overall phases of the assigned project
  • Help develop a project schedule and review all documents
  • Great at problem solving and decision making
  • Leads field personnel to meet project goals
  • Responsibility for program and project safety, and above all other objectives ensures achievement of safety objectives on assigned projects.
  • Ensures assigned projects meet applicable quality requirements.
  • Manages client interactions at site on assigned projects and promotes positive relationships.
  • Works with clients to identify new opportunities to provide additional services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT AND SAFETY

  • Position may be assigned to client site for an extended period of time.
  • This position is a safety sensitive position. The employee is considered a field contractor supervisor and acts in a supervisory role for field work.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline or an equivalent technical degree.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Construction Management
  • OSHA Qualified 10, 30
  • Must be highly organized and efficient
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to handle a wide variety of obligations during any given day
  • Must be willing to travel, work after hours, and nights/weekends
  • Great people skills and a positive attitude will also be an attribute of the perfect candidate

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Must have excellent communication skills both orally and in writing. Must be computer literate and capable of using Procore (this can be trained in-house) MS Word, Excel, internet/email, and smartphone/iPad/laptop. This position requires an individual that is confident, energetic, and has leadership skills. He/She must be able follow the direction of the project manager and/or the senior project manager.
