About Lenick Construction and Job Description
Lenick Construction Inc. is a well-established and respected carpentry contractor. We are located in Jamison, PA and have been in business for over 40 years. We are accepting resumes for a Construction Estimator that can grow with our company that has a major construction focus on mixed use, residential, commercial, and retail. This person must be able to work and communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and peers.
Job duties including but not limited to:
- Organized skills as required to manage multiple projects
- Thorough understanding of drawings and specifications
- Develop scopes of work for bid packages
- Estimate projects accurately and efficiently using On Screen Take Off and Quick Bid Estimating Software
- Preparation of full take off cost estimates ensuring that all material, labor, coordination, and profit/overhead are included
- Maintain current information on trends in and changes to existing construction codes in order to ensure complete bids from subcontractors and material suppliers
Character Traits:
- Highly detail oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Professional work ethic
Required:
- 3+ years of experience
- Computer skills including the use of Microsoft office
- Experience with On-Screen Takeoff and Quick bid
