Historic District Partners are seeking the donation of three scissor lifts for media use during an upcoming America250 event on Independence Mall.
On the morning of July 2, 2026, organizers will bring together 250 volunteers to form the shape of the Liberty Bell—a large-scale visual moment designed to generate local and national media coverage, as well as strong social media engagement.
To capture the formation from above, elevated platforms are required, as drones are not permitted over National Park Service property due to FAA restrictions. The scissor lifts will allow photographers and media outlets to document the event from above.
