Hillis-Carnes Engineering Associates, Inc. (HCEA) is a 100% employee-owned engineering consulting firm serving the Greater Philadelphia region and Mid-Atlantic since 1989. HCEA partners with owners, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors to provide geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, special inspections, environmental consulting, and geostructural engineering services. HCEA’s Philadelphia operations are led by Dave Harmanos, PE, Vice President and Eastern Regional Manager, who brings more than 30 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and foundation design for industrial, institutional, commercial, and mission-critical projects. Andy Hajec, PE, Associate Principal Engineer, provides technical leadership for geotechnical projects throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, Southern New Jersey, and Delaware. Mike Murray, MBA, leads regional business development, connecting clients with HCEA’s full range of engineering, testing, inspection, and environmental services.
