On January 5, 2019, the first class of the Carpenters’ Apprentice Ready Program (CARP) 2019 took place. The program will run through March 2nd. In partnership with the Carpenters JAC and Keystone Mountain Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters, this year’s program incorporates shop training, classroom test prep, soft skills, and job readiness training.

In its third year, CARP’s goal is to increase diversity and inclusion of Philadelphia County residents in the building trades.

Good luck to this class! We hope to see you working in the industry soon!

If you are interested in interviewing a potential apprentice for sponsorship in March, please contact Angela Hendrix at ahendrix@64.207.152.120.
