The construction industry is changing, with new technologies, namely robotics, helping job sites increase safety and productivity by taking human workers out of dangerous or hazardous situations, and doing repetitive tasks without fatiguing or injury.
While some people are concerned about this increase in labor automation, others in the construction industry see this trend as creating an increased need for human expertise. By working alongside construction robots and machinery, workers’ expertise and craftsmanship will be augmented.
