On Tuesday, December 3, 2019, GBCA and the Keystone + Mountain + Lakes Regional Council of Carpenters visited 93.3 WMMR The Preston and Steve Show’s Camp Out for Hunger at Xfinity Live! We announced that together, we’re donating 160,000 lbs of food to Philabundance! As of Friday, December 6, 2019, the weight is actually higher! We’ve donated 175,000 lbs of food to Philabundance!

Thanks to our Construction Leadership Council and our Safety Committee for coming out and helping us weigh some of our food!
GBCA’s food collection started at the Construction Excellence Awards on November 21, when event attendees brought canned goods to the event to donate, and GBCA donated canned goods that were part of the event’s centerpieces. Several members made additional donations, including Armor Masonry Restoration, Geppert Bros., Inc., and P. Agnes, Inc.
Camp Out for Hunger is running until Friday, December 6, so head down to Xfinity Live! to make a donation and help make this holiday season a happier one for all Philadelphians!
