On April 29, GBCA’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) toured the Durapods facility in Chalfont, PA, gaining a behind-the-scenes look at innovative prefabrication.
Led by the Durapods team, the tour highlighted fully prefabricated bathroom and patient room pods. Attendees explored the 100,000-square-foot facility and learned how these units are designed, manufactured, and prepared for efficient installation on job sites.
The team also showcased their work on projects such as the Penn Medicine Cancer Center at Princeton Health, Penn Medicine Montgomeryville Outpatient Center, and Roberts Children’s Health at CHOP.
Following the tour, attendees had the opportunity to connect and continue the conversation over pizza and refreshments at the Durapods office.
