GBCA is proud to announce that Johna Jones is the 2018 recipient of the General Building Contractors Association Award in Construction Management at Jefferson University (formerly Philadelphia University). This annual award honors the highest academically achieving student in Construction Management at Jefferson University.
Jones received the award at an awards ceremony on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Congratulations, Johna, and good luck in your future endeavors!
About Johna Jones
Johna Kimara Jones, is a 21-years old Construction Management and Visual Studies undergraduate student at Jefferson University (formerly Philadelphia University). In the Construction Management Program, Johna has been involved with the University’s Construction Management Society, where she currently holds the office of Vice President. External to the classroom, Johna has learned a great deal about construction with two internship opportunities with general contractors in the Washington, DC area. In May 2018, Johna will graduate Cum Lade from Jefferson.
Following graduation, Johna’s plan is to gain two (2) years of work experience in the field, and then further her education in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
