There is a lot of construction happening just east of City Hall. Former City Planner Ed Bacon had grand dreams about the Gallery as a public space for Philadelphians, and Fashion District Philadelphia is updating this dream. GBCA members Shoemaker Construction Co. and Skanska Building USA Inc. are making this dream a reality.
Curbed Philly has created a timelapse video of Shoemaker and Skanska building the glass cube entrance, caught by EarthCam from April 2017 to November 2017 and whittled down to 37 seconds.
