GBCA’s We Built This Skyline Campaign has been awarded first place for PR Daily’s 2020 Nonprofit PR Awards in the category of Visual Storytelling! GBCA is proud to support and promote Philadelphia’s union construction industry.
In 2019, the We Built This Skyline campaign focused on videos and images to tell the story of the quality craftsmanship of Philadelphia’s union builders. We produced video vignettes about GBCA’s history and services, partnered with 6abc to produce Weekend Update video segments and Facebook Live videos, and created an ongoing photo essay about Philadelphia’s construction industry on Instagram.

The General Building Contractors Association’s videos tell the tale of Philadelphia’s union builders. Social media combined with exclusive local TV news channel reports hit the mark, winning first place prize in the Visual Storytelling category of PR Daily’s 2020 Nonprofit PR Awards.
