The Women in Nontraditional Careers (WINC) Trades Readiness Program is recruiting trainees to start July 13 for 6 weeks! This FREE training opportunity can become the first step to a new and high-paying career. Graduates will be ready to apply for Philadelphia Building Trades Apprenticeships and enter other trades positions in construction, transit and manufacturing. We especially invite women who have been unemployed or underemployed due to COVID restrictions.
WINC Tradeswomen Readiness Program with the Finishing Trades Institute
Date: July 13 – August 19, 2021 (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays)
Time: 8am – 4:30pm
Location: Sheet Metal Workers Training Center, 1301 South Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia, PA 19147
Criteria/Pre-Requisites:
- Women who are Philadelphia residents only
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
